Ryuji Moritani
Founder & Director

Ryuji is the founder of MAC, with 20 years of experience in financial consultancy, assisting clients with investments, financing, and business planning & reporting. He has spent more than 26,000 hours on modelling and has developed and reviewed over 540 models.

Previously he worked for PwC for 10 years, where he established and led the Japan financial modelling team before he set up MAC in 2013.

Ryuji is a CFA charterholder and is also certified as a US Certified Public Accountant. He holds a degree in Commerce from Hitotsubashi University, Tokyo.

Yoji Matsuura
Manager

Yoji joined MAC in 2018 and has been providing modelling services to a wide range of clients in the infrastructure sector.

Prior to joining MAC, Yoji worked for a Japanese trading house, where he engaged in business development, M&A, project finance, and asset management of IPP projects. He played an integral role in various European offshore wind transactions.

Yoji graduated from the University of Tokyo, Faculty of Economics.

Oliver Senter
Senior Manager

Oliver joined MAC in 2019 after spending 7 years in PwC, where he was a Director and team leader of the Japan modelling team.

He has developed or reviewed over 200 models primarily related to power and infrastructure assets. Oliver has taken a leading role on transactions in Australia, Europe, India, Japan, the Middle East and the US covering a wide range of assets.

Oliver is a CFA charterholder and Chartered Financial Modeller. He graduated from University College London with First Class Honours, BSc Economics.

Kohei Akiyama
Manager

Kohei joined MAC in 2020, after his 6 years in PwC. He has experience building and reviewing 120+ financial models throughout his career.

In PwC, he was part of the Japan modelling team and involved in various modelling projects relating to M&A, project finance, and business planning and supported his clients through other services such as data analytics and valuation.

Kohei is a Chartered Financial Modeller. He graduated from McGill University in Canada with a Bachelor of Science.

Nanako Ohara
Finance

Nanako is responsible for Finance and Corporate Management in MAC.

Nanako joined MAC in 2020 after 16 years of service in the US conglomerate, where she engaged in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Controllership, Commercial finance and Audit in Japan/US.

Nanako is certified as a US Certified Public Accountant and holds a degree in International Politics, Economics and Communication from Aoyama Gakuin University.

Sho Yoshimura
Senior Manager

Sho has recently joined MAC, after 10 years in PwC and 2 years as an independent financial modeller.
He has spent more than 16,000 hours on modelling and has built and reviewed more than 210 models, primarily covering energy & infrastructure project finance projects.

Sho is a CAIA charterholder and Chartered Financial Modeller. He graduated from Waseda University with a Bachelor of Science.
